Continuity of special accreditation for the specialization (Tourism Management / Bachelor Program) at the University of Jordan / Aqaba Branch.
 
Continuity of special accreditation for the specialization (Hotel Management / Bachelor Program) at the University of Jordan / Aqaba Branch.

​University of Jordan, Aqaba Branch issued magazine on the project of tracks the Great Arab Revolt, hardcopy and electronically within the brigade Alqoirh brigade projects Jordanian Culture 2021 on the occasion of the centenary celebrations of the Kingdom of Jordan State. Which came after 20 tracks of the revolution were followed, documented and modeled.

The University of Jordan has achieved an advanced global ranking in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, which is considered the most influential and important in the field of subject rankings worldwide. This ranking is annually released by the British institution 'QS'. The university secured advanced positions in all five scientific fields classified and in eighteen specific disciplines.

 

According to the ranking results, the University of Jordan achieved the 227th position in the field of Social Sciences and Management in the 2024 ranking. In the Tourism and Hospitality specialization, The University of Jordan entered the ranking for the first time in its history and ranked in the 51-100 range globally and second regionally.

 

Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ayman Harb, expressed his pride in this achievement, which reflects the university's efforts in developing and improving the quality of education and scientific research in the field of tourism and hospitality. He emphasized the importance of this ranking in enhancing the university's global reputation and increasing its attractiveness to students and researchers interested in this subject.

 

The Global Rankings and International Accreditation Office indicated that this ranking is based on five criteria: the academic reputation of the specialization, measured by the reputation of scientific research in the field to be classified, the research faculty's reputation, the employment reputation of specialization graduates, the citation rate per internationally published research in the specialization, global research collaboration within the specialization, and finally, the citation index for research published in this field (H-index)."​
